In 2017, Wessler Media was founded by Vince Tornero in Central Ohio. However, the roots of the company trace back to a “Radio DJ” toy he received in 2000. This toy could broadcast up to 30 feet and became his very own radio station. As his mother sensed a bit of an obsession forming, the radio station was shut down by the PCC (Parental Communications Control). But that childhood love of radio could not be turned off.
After a career in radio and marketing, Vince developed a strong desire to start his own podcast and social media production company. His very first client was a friend and local financial advisor, Mike Eischen. Retire with Success was a statewide radio show that Vince produced for many years.
Soon after, Vince launched and simultaneously produced podcasts for The Ohio State Fair and Pelotonia (an organization funding cancer research). Then came the weekly syndicated segment for The Ohio Farm Bureau, a podcast for Lifeline of Ohio, social media production for Buckeye Donuts, and many others.
Over the years, Wessler Media has adapted to an ever-evolving media landscape. In addition to podcasts, the team meets a variety of client needs—social media content, video podcasts, radio production, and various video and design projects.
You might ask why the name “Wessler Media.” Vince explains, “My nephew Wesley was about 10 years old when I started the company, and that was his nickname. I always want us to approach every project or production with the boundless imagination of a child.”
